Terms and Conditions

Introduction and Definitions

This document outlines the general terms and conditions of the contract between the client and the counsellor regarding the provision of online counselling services.

By using our online counselling services, clients agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

Throughout this document, "IntTogether" refers to the service created by Serena Ventura, a professional based in London, UK, providing online counselling services specifically for couples.

About Us

IntTogether connects clients with independent, qualified professionals (referred to as “counsellors” or “therapists”) to offer tailored couple counselling services online.

Matching Process

The matching process begins when a client submits their initial request through our questionnaire. Based on the information provided, IntTogether carefully reviews and selects the best-suited counsellor for the client.

Neither IntTogether nor its counsellors can accept cases involving emergencies, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or harm to others. In such cases, please seek immediate support from emergency services.

The assigned counsellor will provide their informed consent document before beginning sessions. If the client cannot return the signed consent, these terms and conditions will act as a substitute.

Service Delivery

Once a suitable counsellor is assigned, the client is entitled to a free initial consultation session.

Session Details:

  • Sessions are a minimum of 45 minutes. The counsellor may extend the session duration at their discretion without additional charges.

  • Each couple counselling session costs £90. Any additional services, such as assessments or reports, must be agreed upon in advance between the client and the counsellor.

  • Weekly sessions are recommended to maintain progress. Any alternative schedule must be mutually agreed upon.

Flexibility:

  • Clients can pause or end sessions at any time without obligation.

  • The counsellor may recommend ending the therapy if they believe it is no longer beneficial, which will be discussed with the client beforehand.

Privacy and Confidentiality

All personal information shared between the client and the counsellor is strictly confidential, except as outlined below:

  • Counsellors may take notes during sessions to enhance the therapeutic process.

  • IntTogether complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 for data protection.

Liability

IntTogether is not responsible for service interruptions caused by external factors or unforeseen events.
The resolution of payment or service-related disputes lies solely between the client and the assigned counsellor.

Pricing

  • The first consultation session is free.

  • Each subsequent couple counselling session is £90.

Any additional services, such as reports or personalized assessments, must be agreed upon in advance between the client and counsellor.

Contact Outside of Sessions

Communication between the client and the counsellor outside of scheduled sessions is limited to administrative matters, such as booking, rescheduling, or cancellations.

For psychological matters, support is only provided during sessions. In emergencies, clients should contact local crisis services.

Scheduling, Delays, and Cancellations

  • Session times are agreed upon by both parties.

  • If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

  • Clients can cancel or reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Refunds:

  • Full refunds are available if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24 hours’ notice or for no-shows.

Payments

  • Payment methods are agreed upon directly between the counsellor and client during the initial consultation.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, or other agreed methods.

Invoicing

The counsellor is responsible for issuing invoices. Clients may request a copy of the invoice directly from the counsellor.
